The brown bear celebrates its 64th birthday today and provides free car wash services

Brown Bear Car Wash is one year old and they once again offer free car wash service to celebrate their birthday.
The car wash set up in Northwest China will celebrate its 64th birthday this year. They will present the “Beary Clean” car wash service to customers at all of its 28 tunnel car wash locations throughout the day until 8 o’clock this evening. The Ballard Tunnel cleaning site is located at 5111 15th Ave NW.
The Brown Bear founder and CEO Victor Odermat opened the company’s first branch in 1957, just across the street from Ballard, at 1800 15th Ave West. The company now has 52 car wash shops in the Puget Sound area and Spokane.
Last year, the brown bear cleaned 29,756 cars and trucks in the Puget Sound area. This tradition began 14 years ago. Since they started to provide free car wash services on birthdays and Veterans’ Day, they have issued 476,259 free car wash services.
“This has become our tradition, and this is our way of saying’thank you’ to our loyal customers who have supported us for more than 60 years,” Aldemat said in a statement on the free car wash day. “This is a fun and busy day because we celebrate with our customers and benefit the environment at the same time.”
Brown Bear Car Wash has become the largest car wash operator on the West Coast and the 12th largest car wash operator in the United States. The company is known for its environmentally friendly practices and uses biodegradable cleaners in all its locations.
