How do I Clean and Wash Microfiber Towels?

Microfiber towels can be washed over and over and reused. You can either wash them by hand if you have just a few, or in the washing machine, Use the following tips to get the best performance out of your towels:

- For Best Results Use a Detergent Specific for Microfiber

Using a microfiber detergent will get your towels cleaner, ensure thorough rinsing, leave them soft like new and help extend their useful life further. If you don’t have microfiber detergent, use a laundry detergent with no fabric softener. Microfiber towels are so absorbent that you will never be able to remove the fabric softener from the towels, and they will never work as well. Never use fabric softener or dryer sheets. You can also put in a teaspoon of distilled vinegar per towel for additional cleaning.

- Wash Only By Themselves

Microfiber will attract lint like a magnet, If you wash microfiber with your other cotton towels, the microfiber towels will collect all the lint from other towels, become contaminated and won’t work as well.

- Air Dry or Only Use Low Heat in the Dryer

Since microfiber is a synthetic product, too much heat will ruin the properties of the towels making them less effective, more stiff, brittle and shorten their useful life.

If you only have a few towels, we have found the best method is to wash them by hand in the sink and let them air dry.
